Who We Are & What We Do

Mission
The Vijaya Project is a non-profit organization founded in 2017. This organization's purpose is to provide medical supplies to under-funded hospitals in the state of Telangana, India. Our mission is to bring donated supplies from hospitals in America to low-budget government and private hospitals in South India.
Vision
Donations to hospitals in India aid in the lack of medical supplies available to help those suffering from heart related conditions. Cardiovascular disease, specifically coronary artery disease, is a widespread epidemic across India, leading to a higher demand for medical supplies. By bringing supplies to these hospitals, we can assist in providing medical treatment to patients who could not otherwise afford and receive medical care.

How We Started

Our mission began as an act of goodwill. After multiple trips to South India, where our family was able to visit under-funded hospitals, we began donating medical supplies during every trip beginning in 2013. These acts led us to turn this project into a foundation. The Vijaya Project was founded in 2017 with the purpose of continuing this tradition of donations and support for low-budget government and private hospitals in India.

Our foundation was named in honor of our late grandmother, Vijaya. She lost her battle to renal cell carcinoma in 2013.
